What is famous in Cambodia? Angkor Wat is definitely a must-go tourist spot. However, where else can you visit besides it? There are other places of attraction in Cambodia that you should check out as well!

1. Mekong River Dolphin in Kratie

You must be thinking, what, how can there be dolphins in a river? Yes, I am not kidding. You can get to see the endangered Irrawaddy dolphin in the Mekong river. If you are an animal lover, be sure to visit this tourist spot. I mean, how often can you see rare river dolphins right?

2. Kep National Park

I am sure the Kep National Park is the first thing that came to your mind when I talk about Kep. It is the natural habitat for many exotic animals. For those who are adventurous and wish to escape the burning heat in the cities, this is a good tourist spot for you! Moreover, there is a Led Zep café in the park, so you can take a break if you are exhausted from the strenuous trekking. Hence, this tourist spot is good for nature lovers.

3. Pepper farms (Kep)

The National Park in Kep is famous. However, did you know that their pepper farms are amazing too? Sothy’s Pepper Farm is the most popular one out of all the farms. They have guides who can communicate in various languages. Thus, you do not need to worry about language barriers. The lunch sets provided in the farms are affordable and friendly to your wallets. Therefore, this tourist spot is great for those who are on budget. Farms like this are spectacular because they efficiently utilized farming equipment and machineries, such as tractors. A tractor must always be well-maintained through cleaning or perhaps by replacing its parts by going to a site which might be the number one source for compact tractor parts and foreign tractor parts.

4. War Museum

Visiting War Museums is one of the best ways to get to know the history of the hosting countries. They tell you the stories and different people’s narratives about the past. This is definitely a must-go tourist spot in Cambodia if you want to know more about the history of Cambodia. It is the biggest War Museum in Cambodia, so how can you miss that out right?

There is a vast array of war machines on display: from fighter jets to rocket launchers and many more. Some of them were used in World War II too. Moreover, you can have a free guide to bring you around the museum. All of them are able to converse in English, so do not worry that language would be a barrier to this museum trip!

5. Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum aka S-21

This UNESCO-listed Museum used to be a torture and detention center for the victims of Khmer Rouge. Pol Pot’s governance changed a high school to an infamous interrogation center. More than 17,000 people were tormented and died. Different from the scenic places which I have state\d above, S21 offers an eye-opening experience and meaningful tourist spot that is not to be missed.
