The City Walls of Dubrovnik

Hola! My name is Edeline and here is my exchange story!

I’m went on exchange at ESADE, in Barcelona.
A month before exchange started, I backpacked around Europe and Dubrovnik was one of my favourite cities! This was taken on the City Walls, where you get a panoramic view of the gorgeous Croatian waters and the old town of Dubrovnik. Definitely a must-do! (Heads up, remember to ask for the student price. It’ll save you a lot of money!)

Sitges, The “Jewel on the Mediterranean”

Known as the “Jewel on the Mediterranean”, Sitges is one of the many places that are perfect for a day trip from Barcelona. If you do drop by, don’t forgot to hit the beaches! They are way less crowded than the ones in Barcelona.

Sagrada familia, Barcelona

If you only have one day in Barcelona, this will be the place to be. Sagrada familia is Gaudi’s pride and main masterpiece. The intricate architecture is beautiful and the interior is even more mesmerizing!
(Fun fact: Construction first began in 1882 and is set to finish only in 2026.)

Girona

A 90 minute drive away from Barcelona, you can explore the quaint town of Girona along the way to Costa Brava, which is a popular beach destination in the North of Spain. (Tip: Make sure to come early before it gets too cold!)

This is a snapshot from my weekend road trip that led us from Barcelona to Girona to Port Bou to Cadaques to Tossa De Mar and finally back to Barcelona again.
Hope you guys have enjoyed the snippets I’ve shared and are psyched for the amazing time you will have on exchange yourselves. Adiós!
