Hey Ying, generally the bidding environment in KU is rather competitive. It’s on a first-come-first-serve basis, and you would need to manually submit your bids to the system. However, during the pre-bidding period, you can indicate the modules you’re interested in. This will speed things up during the bidding period, as you can quickly submit your choices. (You can refer to the pdf that the school will send to you, the steps will be more detailed)
Last semester, I managed to secure 3 modules, and another 3 were placed on the waiting list. It’s really competitive, and be prepared to camp in front of your computer once the bidding window opens. All the modules eventually got allocated to me after the waiting period. Hope this helps!
Most lessons are conducted twice a week, so it can be rather time consuming. Most of us biz students took 6 modules, so our timetables are rather packed. A typical weekday would probably start at around 9am, and end at about 3pm, with breaks in between.
Weekdays are best to travel around Seoul, especially after classes. Weekends are usually spent travelling outside of Seoul! Although classes can be rather packed, I feel that there is still ample time to explore different areas. Just got to work around your timetable and plan ahead!
