We have finally arrived at the last quarter of the year! It’s a widely known fact that the month of October is filled with lots of festivals. From Oktoberfest to Halloween, here’s what this month has to offer:
Autumn in the Train (11th – 14th October 2018)

“Autumn in the Train” brings to you flavour of the season and activities to celebrate the “Railway Day” (Tetsudou-no-hi) which falls on the 14th of October in Japan. The event will transform the Urban Park into a train-like space, featuring Japan’s popular experience themed trains. Head down to experience and enjoy Japanese food, activities and special merchandise relating to Autumn and rail!

Oktoberfest Asia 2018 (18th – 21st October 2018)

Oktoberfest Asia is Singapore’s most authentic Bavarian Oktoberfest. Enjoy a variety of beers from illustrious German breweries and Festival Beers that are brewed specially for Oktoberfest. Be sure to be entertained by the true Munchen band –Rock Oompahs specially engaged from Munich, Germany for the festival.

Moonlight Cinema (26th – 27th October 2018)

Leading up to the film festival, Singapore International Film Festival (SGIFF) partners with Gardens by the Bay to host two free outdoor screenings. The two coming-of-age films, My Girl (USA, 1991) and My Girl (Thailand, 2003), are set in childhood, the time of blossoming first crushes. Head down early to catch talented dancers from Luminous Dance Academy performing to the iconic soundtracks of the two films!
